How we source

We tell you exactly where each coffee comes from

Direct from the farm

We buy Cloudwalker’s green coffee directly from José Luis’s family farm in Sololá, Guatemala, at $4.50 a pound, roughly three times fair-trade pricing, so more of what we pay reaches his family and the pickers who grow it. The Elixir and Dragon’s Tree come from named producers too: Jorge Villantro in Huehuetenango and Ibrahim Mohammad in Khawlan, Yemen.

Partner-sourced

Shaman’s Wisdom and Dragon’s Mane come through a specialty green-coffee importer, as regional lots from Brazil’s Cerrado and Colombia’s Huila. Their farms aren’t named, so we tell you about their regions rather than invent a farm story.

Baltimore

The best at origin, the best in Baltimore

Our coffee is roasted here in Baltimore, and our packaging is sourced locally too: we’re a Baltimore-first business. Roasting here supports local coffee shops, and every bag ships in eco-conscious packaging under strict delivery standards, so your coffee stays fresh, safe and healthy.

We prioritize working with community organizers who focus on growing communities and giving back, from non-profits to small entrepreneurs.

Finding good coffee is a journey up multiple mountains

And we’re willing to make that journey for you.
