Cloudwalker comes from one hillside, one family, and a ring of five volcanoes around Lake Atitlán.
Lake Atitlán sits inside a ring of five volcanoes, in Sololá, one of Guatemala's top three coffee regions. Cloudwalker grows on the south-facing slope of the south volcano. Open each step below to follow it from José Luis's farm to your cup, with the numbers behind it.

2 generations
Family expertise in Sololá
Husband, father, processor and café owner, José Luis lives and breathes coffee. Cloudwalker carries two generations of his family's expertise, grown high in the mountains of Sololá and processed with meticulous care. He grows Catuaí and Bourbon, has won Best Cup in Sololá twice, and helped bring the community's water sanitation plant back into service.

1,500 m
15–24 °C on the farm
Cloudwalker grows at 1,500 meters on the south-facing slope of Lake Atitlán's south volcano, where the farm runs from 15 to 24 °C. The slope catches direct sun at both sunrise and sunset, which pushes the trees to a higher canopy. Cooler air at this height slows how fast the cherries ripen, and that slower ripening is a big part of why high-grown coffee tastes brighter and more layered. Here it shows up as Cloudwalker's bright spike of acidity.

Natural
Sun-dried on raised mats
Cloudwalker is a natural: after picking, the whole cherry is laid out on raised mats and dried in the sun with the fruit still around the bean. Raised mats let air move under the cherries so they dry evenly, and drying in the fruit lets its sweetness settle into the seed, under the caramel, nutmeg and pomegranate.
$4.50/lb
What we paid, about 3× fair trade
We buy Cloudwalker's green coffee directly at $4.50 a pound, roughly three times fair-trade pricing. José Luis works directly with exporters and we buy direct from his farm, so more of what we pay reaches his family and the pickers who grow it.

Baltimore
Landed and roasted here
Cloudwalker lands at the Port of Baltimore as green coffee, and from there it stays local. We roast it here, with our packaging sourced in Baltimore too: we're a Baltimore-first business. Roasting here supports local coffee shops, and every bag ships in eco-conscious packaging under strict delivery standards. Restaurants, bars and shops can carry it too, as green or roasted coffee.

What people say about Naga’s Charm Coffee
“I purchased some roasted coffee beans and I can say the coffee I made was fantastic, I usually go to Starbucks for my daily coffee but I'm going to stay home and use my coffee maker with this brand to save money, for an even better taste.”
“Where do you start when you have so many great coffee choices to try... well you try them all. Naga's Charm Coffee is exceptional and after working for 5 years in the coffee industry I developed a palette that is spoiled. That same palette is no longer thirsty since finding NCC and now I can't wait till the weekends when I usually brew my coffee.”

Questions
Where does this coffee come from?
The south-facing slope of the south volcano on Lake Atitlán, in Sololá, Guatemala: José Luis's family farm, with two generations of expertise behind it.
What does the flavor actually taste like?
Caramel and nutmeg up front, then pomegranate and a smoky edge, with a bright acidic spike and a full body.
Is Cloudwalker the highest-altitude coffee you carry?
No, despite the name. It sits at 1,500 meters; Dragon's Tree grows at 2,300. What makes Cloudwalker the flagship is the farm and the story behind it, not the elevation.
Which grind should I choose?
Whole bean keeps it fresher longer and is the better choice if you grind at home. Without a grinder, pick the grind that matches how you brew.
How is this sourced?
Direct from José Luis's farm, at $4.50 a pound for green coffee, about 3 times fair trade pricing.
How should I store it?
Sealed, away from light and heat, at room temperature. Skip the freezer: the moisture swings do more harm than good.
